A while ago I promised you a great story! It is so amazing how God answers specific prayers. Click on "Lyla and Luyana" below to read a story from a fellow adoptive mom, Michelle, about the photo above. We met on a China Adoption Facebook group only to realize we were using the same agency, adopting little girls who are the same age, are from the SAME orphanage, and we are likely traveling within weeks of each other! That's crazy enough right there. She has been an amazing support to me in this journey, and well, I'll stop talking and let you read the story! (and p.s. As you read this story, will you say a quick prayer for Lyla's family? They have been waiting too long for their travel approval and for serious reasons, they need to go get their girl NOW! Pray for their travel approval to come and that they'd be able to travel quickly after that. Thank you, I know she would appreciate it so much!)

What a blessing it will be for the girls to remain in contact with each other! We were unable to do that with Haleigh's special orphanage friend. We checked after we got home as we would have highly considered another trip if she were available but she was adopted a short time after Haleigh. All they would tell us was that she was in the US. I am still hoping to connect some day! On the other hand a little girl from Haleigh's orphanage who is a bit older than Haleigh was adopted a couple months earlier and they only live a few blocks from us. I was their older daughter's teacher the year they traveled and we adopted Haleigh. The girls didn't know each other as there is an age difference, but one day that will be a good connection for them as well. God is so good!
